Villa Aurora was built in the early 20th century at an extraordinary location near the Arboretum in Trsteno. It’s about 1000 square meters big and surrounded by another 11 thousand square meters of greenery. It was abandoned and neglected for years, which led to its complete devastation. Since September 2019, it has been leased by the company Renaissance Ltd. We plan to renovate it. Due to the official given status of a ‘cultural monument’, only licensed architects and companies are allowed to conduct work on Villa Aurora. Architects will work in close collaboration with the Conservation Department of the Ministry of Culture in Dubrovnik and the Directorate for the Protection of Cultural Heritage during the renovation period. We want to preserve its beauty and the values ​​of the city it represented in the past.
